A private estate wedding

This wedding was one for the books. I swear I get so lucky with how awesome my clients are! Grace and Jake’s wedding was an absolute blast from start to finish. They said “I do” on Jake’s family property with all of their friends and family. there were so many details, which if you know me, is my favorite part of a wedding. from the polaroid guest book, to floating lights to the seating chart - everything was thought out.

The backyard lent us the backdrop for the first look and couples photos, while the front yard gave us the ceremony and reception site. There’s just something about a backyard wedding that’s totally awesome and they always end up being some of my favorite weddings to shoot. I visited Grace and Jake at this property a month or two before to scope out the space, and when I tell you it completely transformed on their wedding day….it did. Their families worked endlessly sprucing up the yard to get it ready for everyone to enjoy a night they wouldn’t forget.

and then they danced the night away… and of course the night ended with a sparkler exit! All I have to say is, give me all the backyard weddings, please!!!
